December in San Francisco

You can come again and again and still see the same places (and of course, new ones too) in different light and mood.
Could you get enough of it?

Thanksgiving in Mexico

Don't ask me why I'm posting photos from Thanksgiving at the end of the year!

Leisurely 10 days in Punta Mita, about 20 mins north of Puerto Vallarta. Nothing to do. Just the ocean and sun.

I promised some presets (yes, there is more to come!), didn't I?

Here are two versions of "Hollywood". It was designed to give washed-out, vintage look of buildings of the early movie-making town, - hence the name.
It will look best on darker photos and it is not very suitable for portraits.

Hope you'll enjoy it and let me know how you used it!

Santa Barbara trip 3

I really don't understand how did that happen - my girl celebrated her 20th birthday!

The time spent there feels so relaxing and very "Southern California". Unseasonably warm weather surprised me - I was baking in my fall outfits.
And as always, the drive along the coast on Hwy 1 is worth the time.

Diamond Ice

Hear the jingle bells yet or snow crunching under your feet?

Full of rich textures, sparkles and beautiful snowflakes - Diamond Ice by Heather T.
(releasing at Mscraps).

Cold (bellow got GSO at Gallery Standouts!)
the words are lyrics from Tori Amos' song Winter.
Snow can wait I forgot my mittens
Wipe my nose Get my new boots on
I get a little warm in my heart
When I think of winter
I put my hand in my father's glove
I run off Where the drifts get deeper
Sleeping beauty trips me with a frown...

Guess what I sneaked in the second layout: an overlay from WaterMonths, also by Heather.

Sea Ranch

The area of this coastal region is really interesting. Due to very strict, environmentally conscious building code, the houses appear inconspicuous, as if blending into the surroundings - which is the intention after all. The style is not something appealing to me but the fact, that the houses fit in so well, is.

The walk along the ragged shore is nothing short of spectacular. Galleries in local town Gualala boast stunning photographs from locate artists - old barns, fences or mysterious forest. Truly a feast for the eyes!

Four days were not enough for me to take pictures I wanted.

Looking for an easy way to neatly arrange photos on your pages? Heather T. has a set of templates that you might like!

In early November, we traveled to Santa Barbara to celebrate our daughter's 20 (!!) birthday. The time spent there feels relaxing and very "Southern California". Unseasonably warm weather surprised me - I was baking in my fall outfits.

And because it was a special time for my girl, here is a special gift
